This is a super simple wall art idea that is really fun to do! And it is real wood (well, balsa wood) so it does not require any type of saw to create! A perfect Sunday afternoon project if I say so myself! And it also has just a little bit of dimension – something fun and unique!
- Materials
- Canvas or foam board //
- Paint //
- Scissors //
- Glue //
- Balsa Wood
1. Paint your canvas or foam board any color you want.
2. While the paint is drying, start to cut out geometric shapes from the balsa wood. I choose to do arrow but any shape would do! I cut 20 total:
3. Once the paint is dry, glue to the wood shapes to the board in whatever pattern you want. I did alternating rows and directions:
I really love the look of this one its own, on a shelf, hanging on the wall or part of a wall gallery.
