While I love the bright greens at St. Patrick’s time, I wanted to create a look that screamed a little bit less “green, rainbows and gold!” with this garland. But don’t worry we still have the classic shamrocks.
- Materials
- Balsa Wood //
- X-acto knife //
- Hot glue gun //
- Twine //
1. Download, print out and cut the shamrock shape.
2. Trace the shamrock on the balsa wood and use an x-acto knife to cut out.
3. Once you have as many shamrocks as you want, use a hot glue gun to attach twine on the shamrocks.
This project turned out so cute! I love how you chose wood instead of the tradition green color. It makes the shamrock look more ”grown up” and sophisticated. I’ve been following your blog for a while now and just wanted to say how much I really enjoyed your projects! Keep up the awesome work :)
Thank you SO much Katie!! And your blog is absolutely adorable and fun!!
This garland is perfect! I love the balsa wood, it makes the green twine pop more. Great tutorial – thanks for sharing! I’ve included your post in my St. Patrick’s Day DIY Project roundup today :)
Thank you so much Emily! And I love your roundup- definitely need to try some of those projects!
