Washi Tape Cups

August 7, 2014 ·

Another very simple cup tutorial with just two materials! I think these took me 3 minutes total and I love how the floral looks with stripes, chevron and dots – so the decorating possibilities really are endless with these.

    Materials

  • Plain Paper Cups //
  • Washi Tape //

1. Take the cup and in your hand and the washi tape in the other hand. Unroll the washi tape and stick it to the edge of the cup. I did it at the bottom of the cup but it would work in the middle or you could do multiple rows too!DSC_0848 DSC_0845

Lay the cups out at your next party and have fun mixing and matching patterns. I got this washi tape from Michael’s and I always love shopping around for new patterns.

My washi tape kept going crooked and not directly around the cup when I try to keep it straight while going around it created creases!. Help!
