A few months ago Malissa was on a bit of a marble contact paper kick. She came up with a bunch of awesome projects using the stuff (I think my favorite was this lamp) and now I think it’s my turn haha!
Last week, I bought my first roll (actually I bought five) and did my kitchen backsplash with it! I love how it turned out and I was excited to have some bits left over. I’ll be sharing that backsplash project sometime in the next month, when the kitchen feels totally done and ready, but in the meantime you might see a few of these faux marble projects creeping their way into the blog.
Seriously, that paper is just too good. Here’s the exact kind I bought and I’ve been really happy with the quality. Its very sticky but is also easily repositioned and retains that stickiness. I feel like walls are one of the hardest surfaces for things to stick to and yet its holding up great on mine so far. And sometimes wood can be tricky too, especially with varying widths like these spoons, but it went on great and I think will hold up nicely as well!
