Aren’t sprinkles like…one of the top three cutest thing ever?! I think so. And so I love these sprinkle covered silhouettes! I think the words would be so cute as the food signs at a party. Or just imagine these on a much larger scale inside a shadow box-like frame in your child’s room! eeee!

    Materials

  • Sprinkles //
  • Glue //
  • Paper //
  • Pencil
  • Photos of loved ones/typed or hand drawn words

First get a photo of your most favorite thing. One of mine is obviously Malissa!

Flip your photo the opposite way of how you’d like the final to be. I didn’t even print mine, just left it on the screen and put a paper over it to trace!

Now flip this paper over and apply glue. i used mod podge and applied very liberally with a paintbrush. Go over the lines just a little bit {you rebel you!}

Now cover your paper in SPRINKLES!

Pat them down lightly with your finger then pour the remainder off.

Take a paper that is the size of your frame and place it underneath your silhouette to trace.

2014-04-28 18.24.09

Cut it out and put in in your frame!

    This technique could also be used with seed beads left over from other projects,
