Now I know that I’m in the minority here but there are a lot of things I do not love about Thanksgiving. I truly just cannot wrap my head around stuffing, cranberry sauce or even a roasted turkey {sorry! I just think plain roasted turkey is the worst meat ever!} But when I say I don’t really like Thanksgiving it’s not because I don’t appreciate the mentality behind it, the being thankful part. I fully back that pony! We all need a lot more thankfulness every day, I truly believe it would solve a lot of our problems and certainly most of our bad days.
So with that in mind, I whipped up these thankful cards and envelopes that you can print out and have your guests fill out at your Thanksgiving dinner. Have them write one or a few and then seal them to open next year so they can remember what they were most thankful for the year before and see how their lives or perspectives may have changed.
You could also print them out and write a personal note to someone with one thing you’re thankful for about them and send it their way!
These could certainly be used for any time of year {but the pies definitely make more sense for Thanksgiving :) } so feel free to print em out and keep a little stockpile for sending notes of appreciation whenever the mood strikes or try writing one thing down a day for a month to get yourself in the habit of being thankful!
