Fourth of July Picnic

Is there anything more summery than a picnic? On the Fourth of July no less? I’m not sure there is! And picnics don’t have to be a big production- just grab any blanket, a few treats, drinks, and sandwiches and you have an instant great time!

For this picnic, I put together a very simple meal of pulled chicken sliders, coleslaw, fruit and donut hole kabobs, mini pie crusts filled with yogurt, blueberries, donuts, and layers of angel food cake, fruit and whipped cream in ramekins. To top it all off- coke of course!

For the decor, I strung up two garlands (see this download) and three red honeycombs that I got from Target. Super simple but festive! Watch out for a tutorial on the picnic blanket, it is coming soon!

Also- you can download the flags that I used for the sliders here!
