Rifle Paper Co. is the best, as I am sure you all know by now. so if there is any way that I can integrate their beautiful designs into my home, crafts, and holidays I am doing it (see this post for example)! The florals are just simply stunning. What is not the best is this crazy weather over the past week. It went from about 70 degrees to 50, to 40 and then even colder and rainy. I want spring back! As of now the forecast for Easter is rainy but I am hoping that changes as the week progresses. The issue with having an early Easter is that you run the risk of less than ideal Easter egg hunt weather.
However, if you do end up with a rainy day and an indoor egg hunt, at least you can be greeted by beautiful floral eggs right?
- Materials
- Rifle Paper Co wrapping paper //
- Boiled Eggs //
- Mod Podge //
- Scissors //
- Paint Brush
Step 1: Carefully cut out the florals from the wrapping paper.
Step 2: Use Mod Podge to adhere the flower/s to the egg. The paper I used had larger flowers so I only fit about one flower per egg. Use a paint brush to glue the flower on the egg.
Step 3: Continue until all your eggs are complete!
You can definitely color your eggs before you add the flowers but you can also use the natural eggs (or even white ones) for more neutral eggs. Your choice!
An alternative way to create super simple Rifle Paper Co. eggs is to use their temporary tattoos (which is what I would have done if I had teh patience to wait to receive them!).
