Donut Color Sorting

May 11, 2020 ·

Practice colors using these cute donut prints!

Ok, so these are not edible donuts because that would just be too tempting to eat and would probably lead to a sugary mess! In fact, I tried color sorting with fruit loops a month ago and it was fun but most of them just went into my son’s mouth.

These cute donut prints are in a variety of colors to help with learning colors! We still have a ways to go on perfecting our colors but I am trying to incorporate activities related to colors into every week and am pointing colors out when we go on walks (which is a lot right now!).

Just download and print the below donuts and get to sorting! I put down small pieces of construction paper in front of my son and had him try and match colors but you can also have your little one make little piles of each color since there are 3 donuts of each color.

I hope you have fun color sorting! Maybe afterward you can reward your kid with a real donut :)
