Use a photo to create simple wall art, perfect for a wall gallery!
- Materials
- 8 x 10 photo //
- Circle template //
- Canvas (I used 8×10 size) //
- Paint //
- Glue (glue stick and modpodge) //
First, paint your canvas any color. I used a light pink to contrast with the blue in the photo:
While you are waiting for the paint to dry, print out your photo and a circle template. I used one that my husband took in London (click here to download the photo). Click below to download the circle template:Cut around the circle and place anywhere on the photo that you want to be the final area (I basically placed mine in the middle). Trace around the edge and cut:
Once the canvas is dry, glue the circle onto the middle of the canvas. I used a glue stick and then reinforced the edges with modpodge.
You’re done! Hang the art alone, as part of a wall gallery, or you can place in on your side table, fireplace mantel, etc.
