Since I did this project over a year ago, I don’t have the best photos of the step by step process. If anything is unclear, please comment below and I will be happy to clarify!
- Materials
- Wood pallet //
- Fabric (2 yards) //
- 6″ table legs //
- Leg plate //
- Screws //
- Heavy Duty Stapler //
- Stuffing //
You just need one wood pallet for this project. Take the wood pallet and staple a layer of stuffing unto the top of the pallet to give the ottoman some padding:
Next, cover the pallet in fabric. I used less than 2 yards of chevron fabric and stapled the fabric underneath the pallet (just directly to the wood). Take care in the corners- I folded them under similar to the technique here.
I painted the table legs turquoise, although you could also stain them or keep them natural wood! Attach the legs using the leg plate (I used one from Home Depot) and follow the instructions. They are super easy to use!
Once the legs are attached, double check to see if there are any issues with the fabric and you’re done! I intended for mine to be a coffee table, but it can also serve as an ottoman. You can also cut the wood pallet to any size needed for your living space, use higher/lower legs, use a foam pad, etc.
