Before our kitchen in our current place was redone we were stuck with a 70’s kitchen that needed some serious DIY to make it not so…bleh. The easiest and most favorite upgrade that I did was covering the fridge with chalkboard contact paper. It made for a great canvas to decorate for any occasion. Cover the fridge with the contact paper and you’re done! It also came off easily after being on the fridge for around 9 months!

Roll the contact paper over the fridge, using a decent amount of pressure to reduce the air bubbles. It was easier in smaller chunks to do this but I wanted the final product to look as smooth as possible so I did it in two main sections. It only took me 20 minutes and I used 2 rolls of contact paper (but was unable to finish both sides of the fridge- but since one side was next to the wall it didn’t matter!)
