DIY Baby Band Tees

September 4, 2014 ·

1I guess a more appropriate title would be “baby band ONESIES” but really, you could use simple tees and not body suits like I did. Either way, hello awesomeness right?!

Obviously your child needs to rep the music you love. Apparently, though, this is not so obvious to those in the music industry cus there is like no baby apparel in the merch sections. Not to worry! These tees were SO EASY to whip up. No sewing, no gluing, no screen printing and I’ve created several band logos for you to use so yes EASY is entirely accurate.

    Materials

  • Baby tees, onsies, bodysuits, etc. The long sleeved ones I used are from H&M //
  • Iron on transfer paper //
  • Ink jet printer //
  • Favorite band logos

I’ve uploaded 14 different band logos for you to use if you so desire. Click on the one you want, copy and paste it into a photo editing or word editing program and either flip it horizontally or when you go to print choose “mirror image” if the option is available on your printer. You can download them all here and they’ve already been flipped over for you.

Daft Punk B&W
Daft Punk Color
David Bowie

Deadmau5
Led Zeppelin
Macklemore

Modest Mouse Balloon B&W
Modest Mouse Balloon Color
Modest Mouse Arrows

Stellastarr* My Coco Hand
Pink Floyd
The Beatles

The Doors
The XX

To get a band you want that isn’t here for you, I would start by googling “(insert your band name) logo” and see if you can’t find something you like there. If you want, add it to a photo editing program and add or change colors. Make sure you flip the image backwards to print. And remember, white won’t print so I’d always change white parts you want to show to another color.

Follow the directions on your transfer paper to apply to your tees.

It looked a lot like this mini version here.

I may or may not think this model is even cuter than him though :D

Even if she’s not quite ready to sit up yet lol.
