One of our absolute favorite interior features is the flooring and nothing quite beats a painted floor. Whether it is patterned or a bold color choice that stands out in the room there is no denying the beauty of a well-done painted floor. And most of these you can totally DIY! I understand if you have the luck of wood floors you may be hesitant to paint them but once you’ve looked at these gorgeous options you may soon be making your way to Home Depot.
Colorful stripes – as what is a surprise to no one, this floor was featured in a Kate Spade store.
Triangle stenciled floor – I LOVE this one and it is very doable!
Different shades of pink – such a fun idea to use different shades of the same color in adjoining rooms.
Mint floors – mint is still my favorite color and I love the look of the light mint in this room!
White and Gray Checkered Floor – perfect for an entry-way, kitchen or study.
Pink floors – possibly the funnest way to incorporate one of Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year, Rose Quartz.
Yellow Gingham – a fun take on plaid/gingham!
Wood floor with white stripes – I love the combination of white and wood here.
Large-scale stenciled floors – I love the impact of the large-scale pattern!
Simple patterned floors – little crosses dot just part of the floor, almost in place of a rug.
Fun patterned wood floors – use neutrals to create a fun pattern.
Painted vinyl floors – how amazing does this look with the blue kitchen walls?
Lace stenciled floors – looks so intricate.
Stripes – this kitchenette is just adorable and the light gray striped floor is perfection.
White wood floors – a fresh coat of white paint instantly brightens a space.
Did you have a favorite floor? Would you ever attempt to paint your wood/concrete/tiles/vinyl?
Great selection! Thanks for sharing mine! I wish I had another floor to paint!
