Since until recently I had been out of the blogging game for awhile I have not really had my pulse on the latest trends. But I have been seeing a good amount of daisies showing up on my Instagram feed and love them! So I think they are trendy? Even if not they are just the perfect feel-good flower to brighten my days right now. I am betting a lot of you still need a little pick-me-up! I know I do.
Ok and these are so easy you don’t really need instructions! I did cut the cotton balls in half because I found that without that they were too high compared to the pom pom in the middle and it looked off. If you are doing this with kids, I’d recommend cutting the cotton balls in half before you have them assemble the flowers. Or feel free to not cut them at all!
Materials
- Cotton balls (3 per daisy)
- Yellow pom poms
- Glue
- Paper or poster
- Scissors
Instructions
1. Cut three cotton balls in half with your scissors.
2. Glue a yellow pom pom on a poster or just paper. Even a paper plate works!
3. Glue the cotton ball halves around the yellow pom pom.
These little flowers make me happy! And we finally have flowers outside our house now too. Usually, everything blooms much earlier in Virginia but this has been an unusually cold spring so we got flowers in early March, then a lot of them died, and now we have a lot more again!
