These clocks were so easy! And I discovered what may be my new favorite thing – copper contact paper. I love using contact paper for projects and as soon as I saw this paper on Amazon I knew I needed it buy it. So look out for a few more projects featuring it.

- Copper Contact paper
1. Trace any shape that you want the clock to be in on the foam board. I did an octagon and a diamond. 2. Cut the shape out. The easiest way to cut foam board is by placing a ruler along the line and then using a utility knife to cut.
3. Paint half of the shape in any paint color of your choosing.
4. Once the paint has dried place the copper contact paper on the other half of the clock.
5. Use an awl to cut a hole big enough for the clock part to fit through.
6. Attach the clock kit according to instructions. You may want to take an x-acto knife to cut around the top of the clock as seen below. Once that is done, add the clock hands.
I just used command strips to hang and I am loving it in my slowly coming together office/craft room!
Such a cute and easy craft! I’ve seen similar clocks on Pinterest but they were much more expensive, nice tutorial!
Thank you so much Julia!! So glad you like it!
