Free Printable Where Troubles Melt Like Lemon Drops Print

When I found out we were having a boy I was so excited for lots of reasons. And I have to admit that one of those reasons was because I already had an idea forming about what kind of nursery I wanted to put together. Maybe that’s kind of silly! But, I had envisioned this room and it was just perfect for a boy. So, I was naturally pretty excited that I could execute that vision and it would be perfect!

However. I recently saw the most dreamy, beautiful nursery ever! I don’t know, something about this space just really speaks to me. Seeing this room has completely changed the route I was going to go with our baby boy’s room. Does that ever happen to you? It happens to me all the time! I search for inspiration and have a vision that I think I’m completely happy with and then bam! I wake up to a picture on Pinterest or Instagram one day and it changes everything.

Of course it’s not exactly what I want and I doubt the final space will really end up looking much like that one. But the vibe of it. The organic freshness. The minimalism and deep colors. They’re just what I really want for this new space I’m planning!

But they are SO different from the original space I had in my head. And you know what? I am totally good with that! This new room will, I think, be even more appropriate for a boy’s space than my original plan. It will also match the rest of our home better I think. And, my husband did a weird face when I told him my original idea so I think it’s safe to say he’ll like this better too (though I don’t really care what he thinks of my interior design haha).

The first idea I had was still going to be pretty minimal. But I was going to incorporate more colors in it, lots of colors actually! Like, all the colors of the rainbow. And speaking of the rainbow, my favorite lullaby to sing with Stella is “Over the Rainbow”. It’s so sweet and mellow and about such happy things. And it comes from one of the best movies ever. I just love The Wizard of Oz. And the line “where troubles melt like lemon drops” has always seemed so peaceful to me.

Since I sing the song to Stella, I thought about making a print with that line on it to hang in her room. Possibly to replace the print with the other song I sing to her on it. But I wanted to add a lemon drop graphic and yellow just didn’t suit her room. Immediately I knew I wanted to try and make it for baby boy’s room then, because it would match the vision I was having for it. But, now since I’m reconsidering that direction I decided to make the print anyway. I changed my vision for it quite a bit through the process but I love the print I ended up with!

It’s bright and happy and really quite perfect for any space. Nurseries, bedrooms, offices, entryways. A really welcoming print that can remind visitors they’re in a relaxing, happy place. I love the cheery vibe both this print and the phrase put off. Now that I’m not planning on incorporating it into our new nursery (although my vision could totally change again, you never know!) Free Inspirational Prints For Boss Babe Offices

The next room project on my list is my craft room/office space. I’m not actually planning anything huge, just a new coat of paint and some decor. I already have all my desk decor and I love to leave walls blank for photo purposes. But one thing I do always love to add are prints. There are so many awesome, quality ones available for free online too which makes choosing new ones out so fun. I especially can’t resist a gallery that includes inspirational prints!

I really like to keep my quotes short and sweet, especially on a print. And there really are some that successfully motivate me every time I read or hear them. So, as I got planning this new print wall I decided I should throw together a post with a bunch of options! If there is an area that you tend to do most of your work, whether it’s an actual office or not, these prints will inspire and motivate you.

It can be really hard to keep going sometimes. There’s already so much going on in life and its easy to loose sight of your work goals, especially if they’re more personal goals and not a requirement to keep your family going. However, I find that these are the most important! Every time I have really wanted something and let it take years to accomplish, I’ve gotten frustrated and disappointed in myself. Even if my goals do change and evolve over time, just starting is the only thing that makes them attainable!

It took Malissa and I over and year and a half to start up our Etsy shop way back in the day. And it took us a good five years of talking about this blog to launch it. We were busy doing other important things, but I still always regretted the time we wasted not reaching those goals. Now, I have new goals for our business and sometimes an inspiring quote is all I need to kick my butt into gear!

So with that said, here are a bunch of amazing free inspirational prints that really move me. They’re beautiful and motivating and they are perfect for your creative space. A lot of them are great quotes for children’s rooms or nurseries too. Or by the kitchen table where you can be inspired over breakfast! Hang them anywhere you need inspiration! Free Printable SUMMER FUN Party Pack!

I haven’t had enough parties lately. And I haven’t had enough to make party printables which is my all time favorite activity! Alright, I just haven’t had enough time for anything lately except my kitchen that I’ve been remodeling. I am so excited to share it all with you hopefully soon!

And even though it has taken away from some of my more favorite past times, like designing and partying, I am SO glad I’ve put almost all of my effort into that these last couple weeks because it desperately needed it. Now it’s almost done and the whole house feels like a different place! It so much more light, bright, clean and everything you need a kitchen to be so I couldn’t be happier that is where my focus has been and it can finally be done soon!

So to make up for not getting in enough of all my favorite things (even though I really am enjoying the remodel and learning tons of new skills) I threw together a quick party pack that is appropriate for all summer fetes and FREE!

I absolutely love bold patterns and I absolutely love summer and FUN so I combined all of those things to make a bunch of fun graphic elements that you can print off, cut out and put together real quick! Seriously, I printed and did all the assembly on these items in maybe 20 minutes.

DIY Custom Notebooks with 4 Free Designs

I am not sure I will ever tire of physical notebooks, despite my obsession with Evernote! I am just a sucker for pretty notebook or notepad to jot down thoughts or designs. And every year I end up buying Machelle at least one notebook as part of her birthday present. It is sort of a tradition – no present is complete without some treat, cute soap and a new notebook.
