There is just something so fresh and inviting about all things citrus! Fruits are such a great party and dinner decoration alternative to florals and if you have a lot of space to decorate it is also much cheaper! At my wedding we had several large apothecary jars full of lemon and lines for extra decoration in our dining space. And it was so easy for us to do ourselves and much cheaper than paying the florist for 4 more large bouquets in the room. I actually started this project thinking of combining clementines with flowers but the stores I went to on Saturday did not have great floral options. So instead I decided to try a few options using just the fruit.
For or all of these you will need a bag of oranges, mandarins, or clementines! Clementines are usually easiest to buy and they’re what I used. To add additional greenery, go outside and cut off some leaves.
Style 1: fill a few berry baskets with clementines and line them up in the middle of the table.
Style 2: stack clementines atop a colorful cake stand!
Style 3: fill up a wire basket with clementines and leaves.
Do you have a favorite?! I am always a bit impartial to the mint berry baskets and love using them so that may be my favorite option. Although I would love a whole dessert table decorate with 3 or 5 cake stands full with bright citrus!
